Vampire Facial

The Vampire Facial, also known as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, is an advanced skincare treatment that harnesses the natural healing properties of your own blood to rejuvenate your skin. The process involves extracting a small amount of blood, isolating the platelet-rich plasma, and infusing it into the skin through microneedling. This stimulates collagen production, repairs damaged tissue, and enhances cell renewal.
Ideal for tackling acne scars, wrinkles, uneven texture, and dullness, the Vampire Facial provides a non-surgical solution for achieving youthful, radiant skin. Its ability to boost elasticity and improve skin tone makes it a popular choice for those seeking a long-lasting, natural glow. Experience this cutting-edge treatment and let your skin reveal its healthiest, most vibrant version.

Frequent Questions

Vampire Facial? Does it have something to do with blood-sucking vampires?

Don’t get that chilling sensation down your spine! Vampire facial does use your blood but to bring out the best in you. A vampire is a mythical creature that survives by feeding the essentials of a being. Vampire facial obtains your blood, separates it and uses certain components of it. Moreover, it looks bloody red and hence the fancy name!

What exactly is a vampire facial?

‘Vampire Facial’, ‘PRP Facial’ or ‘Dracula Therapy’ is a fast skin regeneration and collagen inducing treatment that combines micro-needling with topical application of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood. It is a painless treatment with very less downtime and suits almost every skin type and tone. The treatment begins by drawing your blood and separating the growth factors in PRP. This is applied to the face after using a micro-needling device that creates tiny pricks on the skin. These tiny pricks naturally stimulate skin regeneration by elastin and collagen production. The process is quickened and made more rejuvenating with the application of PRP which increases skin turnover, growth and enhancement.

What is the Procedure?

On visiting B16 Clinic, your skin will be examined carefully, and your medical history will be reviewed to ensure that you’ll have no possible side effects. After discussing everything with you, our friendly and expert doctors will begin the session. A few millilitres of blood would be taken from your body, similar to how you give your blood for testing. The blood then is placed in a centrifuge and spun down to separate the red blood cells from collagen growth factors.

After removing all the traces of makeup from your face, an antiseptic would be applied to the injection site and local anaesthesia administered. The collagen-inducing factors of the blood are then applied topically over the skin or injected using micro-needling devices. This naturally creates a rosy glow and natural collagen production which gives softness, plumpness and flexibility to the skin. An ice pack is then pressed onto the site to reduce swelling. The complete effects might take a few weeks to appear, but with regular sessions, you can expect long-term results worthier than what you imagine!

What are the benefits of vampire facial?

It improves the skin texture and tone by reducing scars, correcting hyperpigmentation, tightening lax skin, smoothening fine lines, and minimizing the appearance of large pores. You may be assured of the safety of the treatment at B16 by looking at the thousands of happy clients we have, our approved and advanced medical practices, hygienic and sterilized equipment and well-trained medical practitioners.

What the risks associated with the treatment?

Vampires are risky creatures and so is Bram Stoker’s Dracula. But not Vampire facials! Vampire facial is a perfectly safe treatment that uses the patient’s own blood cells and doesn’t include any added preservatives. The skin, therefore, is very responsive to the treatment with just short-time side effects like swelling, itching, bruising and a feeling of tenderness immediately after the treatment. These can be effectively taken care of using ice packs or even leaving it on its own to heal. These small bruises are common and are not much painful. Non-smokers would find this treatment more effective than smokers since the latter will have toxins from cigarette smoke blocking the response of the multipotent cells.
