Follicular unit extraction (FUE)
During the surgery, a patch of hair from the back of the scalp is removed and transplanted to a bald spot. It is done under local Anaesthesia and is a safe process. The newly transplanted grafts get accepted by the body and behave like natural hairs.
Follicular unit transplantation (FUT)
FUT surgery involves the removal of some skin from the back of the scalp that contains a large patch of hair contrary to direct hair follicle removal as in FUE. The follicles from that strip of skin are then removed and reinserted into the bald/hair loss spot.
